The historic charm of the building, coupled with a cosy restaurant environment, made for a pleasant solo stay. the noise from the bar area detracted from the overall experience.

Had a great time with friends! We explored some nearby National Trust properties and enjoyed the local pub atmosphere. Rooms were clean with a lovely outdoor space for relaxing. Just keep in mind that the bar can get noisy at night, and breakfast options are limited and a bit pricey.
Our room faced the main street with no curtain, which made it hard to sleep. We also had issues with the shower only providing cold water, which was quite frustrating.

Spent a lovely night at this old coaching inn! It’s got so much charm, and the staff were super friendly. The food was awesome, and my wife said her fish was the best ever.

A charming establishment with friendly staff and a cozy atmosphere. The bed was comfortable, and the Irish soda bread served in the pub is a highlight. the shower was poorly functioning, and the carpets needed cleaning, detracting from an otherwise pleasant experience. Unfortunately, the window latch issue raised safety concerns during the stay.
